Garden prints!

Our school has an amazing garden. Yesterday I decided to pick a few of the fruits and veggies and teach some of my classes a little about printmaking. We discussed texture, color and shape. We created crayon rubbings of the large sunflower leaves and printed tomatoes, beans, leek blossoms, apples, strawberries and kale.

This last photo was from the last class of the day. They were able to try all of the produce on our table covers before I threw them away.... It was messy!
